Your BO should be ready to lay any day. My BOs all started between 19 and 21 weeks. Luckily we had just returned from a week long trip in time to get our first one. They are kind of sporadic for a few weeks at the beginning.

Yes, the water test is correct, if they sink they are good. Floating are bad. It's also call the float test.
