LED lights?

I read somewhere that LEDs don't give quail the proper light to continue laying as days get shorter. As a beginner this is my first fall. Is this a fact?

they need full spectrum lighting. depending on where you are GE makes a full spectrum bulb, check at a home improvement or discount store. Walmart had some. do not get reptile blubs or fish tank bulbs.

Sorry to disagree. I use LED lights exclusively with my quail and they lay all winter long.
