LED rope light?

I use a blue (I like blue) rope light around my dining room window and use as a night light. I have a white one inside my screen room. It gives off nice light. You don't get any heat. I used an old rope one that had some burnt out areas. Hung it in one of my hutches with young birds. I could see the light from my kitchen window. I liked it.

Yup, I know some people posted about using them last winter, and I heard no complaints, so I would guess that as long as you have enough of it for your coop size to provide bright enough light, it should work fine. Your neighbors may think you're kinda odd tho <g>

Good luck, have fun,

Pat

RIGHT, Ironimagery, much cooler -- one of their benefits as an Xmas tree decoration (the LED string lights). I'm getting my rope lights confused. They make traditional ones, too, which are less expensive than LED but less energy efficient, I imagine, but may offer a little heat...hmm...
