Leg bands.

Hey ya’ll I want band my ringneck pheasants and was wondering if anyone could help me out with the proper size of leg band. I can’t seem to get an answer on google lol @007Sean

Not sure what type of leg bands you are considering. I've used the plastic spiral for chickens and prefer the colored zip ties. To me that are easier to put on and take off, plus I can adjust the size when putting them on.

Awesome thanx I think I’ve got the right sizes. Didn’t know there was a difference in size for M/F.

With chickens there is definitely a size difference in male/female. There can be a size difference just with hens of the same breed too, that chart is just guidelines. You still need to check even after they are more than a year old.

Their are differences in leg size, even between the same species and between one bird to another.
I used to use leg bands but now I just use different color zip ties. Easier and cheaper.
