ok i have a brown leg horn rooster and a barred rock hen if i breed those will all of the chicks be leg bar, or do i have to have a whit leghorn rooster x barred rock hen,

Legbars are a breed. You cannot get them by crossing other breeds together.

If you put your brown leghorn over your barred rock, you will get black sex links.

Pyxis is correct and you can use the two breeds to make an autosexing bird after a few generations but it will not be a legbar. No crest, no blue eggs etc.
So you can make sex links and eventually auto sexing but that's about it.
