leg horn with large bump?

4month old white leg horn she has large bump on her right chest . Does any one have any answers or suggestions.

That sounds like her crop. That is food that you are feeling or seeing. Completely normal, sounds like she is eating well!

My sultan hen has the large bump on the right side, sounds like her crop. Except it hasn't gone away in over a week. She had lost her feathers and about the time her feathers came back in the bump appeared. When I watch her eat, she acts like its hard to swallow. Still think its her crop?

Welcome to BYC frsheggs. The crop should be empty and flat first thing in the morning, then it will fill up during the day as they eat. By night it should be full. If she is having trouble swallowing she may have an impacted crop which is full and hard from eating something too large or something like long stringy grasses getting stuck. Sour crop occurs after a long bout of impacted crop or as a fungal infection, and may also happen during other illnesses.
