Leg Injury or Deformity?

Hi all,
I have a rescue chick that I’ve been caring for due to its wry neck. The chick is just over 4 weeks old. Now I’ve noticed that he seems to have on leg that pokes out a bit and it doesn’t seem to want to put as much weight on that side. I checked for slipped tendon but the legs are the same size, nothing rotating in the knee, and no tenderness or swelling. I’ve attached some pictures - any ideas??

It looks like a valgus leg bone deformity. If that is what it is, there is no treatment that works. I would try some B2 riboflavin vitamins in case of a riboflavin deficiency. Are you already using some vitamin E and B complex to treat the wry neck? B complex has riboflavin.

I have been giving the chick Vitamin E with Selenium for 4 weeks. I hadn’t been using B complex until last week and I’ve been incorporating it into the food.

In the case of valgus leg bone deformity, do the chickens tend to just live the rest of their lives with it?
