so my baby chick is approx 3 months old and she jumped from a table and then she was able to stand at that moment but she became so scared n depresses and stopped talking at all she s not replying properly as she is making nornal sounds but very less only when i go close to her and call her by her name she only replies then and she is not even trying to sit down and i have a feeling that she didnt slept last night at all she was kept standing the whole night and now this morning she stopped walking and also not making any sounds until we ourself try to encourage her , one of her feet seemed swollen but nit a bug difference as it almost seems normal so i applied a little painrelief balm and covered it with hot strip n since then she is peaceful sleeping but i m very worried i heard chickens die due to leg injury due to high covid cases in my city vets r not really open here and i don think so any of them know anything about chicken as they r especially dog n cat speacialists. any suggestions what i can do to relief her

New to chicken injuries as well, but we had a baby chick (two or three weeks) that was injured in it's leg as well, long story short, the chick would walk about without even using it's leg and after about a week and a half she recuperated (we were almost sure it had a broken leg or pulled tendon at least). I'd say just monitor that it eats well, drinks enough water and isn't cold. Little ones always heal faster than adults. Plus it's part of the whole chicken experience to see and learn what can be donde and what can't, sometimes, research will help and sometimes it won't, again, just monitor and check on it, as long as it eats and drinks you can be sure that it's not going down hill, and if it did have that problem intervene, give it water and food.
