leg is wrong. Please help!!!

Hello, I had RIR's born on Easter. Well today I noticed when one of them was laying down it had its leg out to the side. But when it got up it seemed ok. Today I took it out and had it walk. It doesn't do it to good. What can I do??? And please don't tell me to put it down. I will not do that. THANK you for your help. Ginger

Does the leg appear to be paralyzed? Is it kind of sticking out to the side or behind? Does the bird look otherwise well? Is it the left or right side (I ask that because Mareks, also known as range paralysis, usually starts on the left side).

It's on the right side. It does put a little weight on it. It can put it under him. Yes it does look otherwise well. It's a barn yard mix so I don't know what kind of chick it is.

Maybe it's a vitamin deficiency or something. I don't know a lot about that. Do a search and check old postings.
