Leg mites?

I don't know what you mean by a&d. Baby oil or mineral oil will work also. It works by smothering the mites. No insecticide needed. Usually they shed about the same time as they molt, but you know, the answer with everything chicken, is it varies with the individual. Usually it's so slow that you don't even notice it.
A&d ointment is thick gooey stuff you put on new tattoos or baby diaper rash. Its thick like vaseline, but has other stuff in it to soothe irritated skin. Theres some on my finger so you can see how thick it is.

Look on the ingredients list. Make sure there isn't lidocaine in ti. If it's a petroleum base or oil based, it should do the trick.
No lidocaine. No pain relief what so ever on this.

Active Ingredients: 15.5% lanolin 53.4% petrolatum

Inactive ingredients: carrot oil, cod liver oil(contains vitamins a & d) fragrance, light mineral oil, microcrystaline wax, paraffin.

Sounds like it will work!:thumbsup
