Hi dears,

I noticed this morning that my 5 months old peking duck limping while moving, barely can't walk :'(
What do you think is the problem and how do i deal with it?!

Niacin is an issue but Pekin are meat Birds so can suffer from early joint disease..

Pekins are also pets. If it’s not an injury it’s possibly a niacin deficiency have you examined the legs for signs of swelling or redness?

I'm feeding it poultry food that i bring everytime i go to my cousin poultry farm. I don't know what does the food contain, but he feed it to the chickens that lay eggs and he sales!

Could the calcium be building up in joints?

Then it's probably chicken layer feed, and that has too much calcium and not enough niacin. Too much calcium can cause gout:

Can you contact a duck breeder in your country and ask what they feed?

Where did you get your ducks from? Maybe they can help you find the right feed.
