Leg problems

Ellie, I am afraid it is time to either see a vet or put him down so he doesn’t suffer. I know it would be a hard thing to do after all of the work and caring that you have done for him, but he is going to suffering from infections or even gangrene the way he is. You can try to be more agressive with his care, by soaking his legs every day in betadine water or chlorhexidene (also called Hibiclens,) but not every chicken with frozen legs will survive. I don’t know how old you are, but if you have parents or someone who has medical knowledge, you need to let them help you. If you do soak his legs every day, you will need to blow dry his feathers and get him completely dry to keep him warm.

I just wanted to thank everyone we did our best to save him he stayed strong but not strong enough he passed away last night. Thank you for your help I knew with all of his problems he had a small chance of making it.
