I would offer to buy the bike back or give some amount of money.Hopefully you both learned something from this(legal and ethical).

Me, I don't trust no one anymore because I have been on the scammed end despite checking things out as best I could. I never made someone else pay for my mistakes by passing on a scammed item to another trusting person.Just not right.

Hope you find a way to make it work for both you and the buyer.The money is good,but doing the *right* thing is an even better feeling.
 
He accepted the refund of $1,000 to avoid the trouble of comming down here to take legal action. smart move. but i cant say im over all pleased with the deal now i have to go after the kid who sold to me Bummer...

Did anyone check the vin against the title? Who's to say the title you received was the correct one for bike. Good luck getting any monies back from the person you bought it from. Did you keep the original bill of sale from when you bought it?
 
yeah they are the same. im just glad its over with and the bike is gone because its caused me too much greif lol. On a brighter note. Chicks are finally hatching after 20 long days looking forward to seeing what colors turn out....Barnyard mix hatches are always fun....we have RI red running around and blue/black splash americana and alot of leghorn hardy layers ect...so will be cool
