Legend of Rainea: Coming Storm

Hasis sat by the river and return the glance, "Well first off i'm no mean or bad creature....So if Rainea is good then I'm with Rainea." He smiled, happily.

Northwind sighed dropping his wings. "Then I am Northwind." He nodded in a show of respect. "Glad to now you are not evil, truth, I am in no mood to fight." He smiled.

Haruka's ears shot up. She sniffed the air, then turned to Dawn. "Do you smell something..?"

"I dunno," Dawn shrugged, "kinda hard with all this ice, but I definitely heard something."

Haruka sniffed a bit more, before her neck fur began to rise. "A Rainean," she growled. "Goodness, they keep popping up like rabbits!" Their aura was of nothing good; it was pretty clear that they were either from Thunder, wherever he was, or from the mysterious new force.
Aelil gulped. A Rainean...that's what she was. She thought about her options. Attack? That would just get her killed. Wanting to find out more, she shrank back but kept her ears open to hear what they would do next.

Dawn snorted, a loud growl rumbling in her throat and resonating against the walls. "Well, we'll still stay in this cave for a little bit, whether they want us here or not. If they get arrogant, we know what to do." Flicking her tail and shaking some snow off her ears, she started padding towards the entrance.

Aelil slowly melted into the wall in the form of a shadow. She slipped toward the back of the cave, unsure of what to do. If anyone bothered to look closely, they would notice the shadows were darker where she was, but Aelil hoped the two foxes weren't that observant.

Haruka strided in proudly. Her gait was arrogant, but was also dangerous, and clearly said, "don't mess with me". She glanced over where she felt Aelil's powers radiating from, and snorted, before she smirked. Just for the fun of it, she took her powers to see how Aelil would react.

For a moment Aelil was confused. A fox with her power? Then it dawned on her. If she could still see her enemy using the shadow shifting, she must be able to see Aelil. Aelil started to run, the golden patches of her coat glowing. If she made it to the entrance of the cave in time maybe she could escape...

Haruka laughed along with Dawn. They made no move to go after her. "That was priceless," Dawn snickered to Haruka.

"Yep," Haruka grinned.

(Haruka has Senkah's power, fyi.)

Aelil only solidified when she reached the valley. Well, she thought creeped out and scared, there goes any chance of me returning there. The experience made her feathers rise. She knew they could have chased her, maybe caught her or killed her with whatever other magic they had.
She gulped. While she supported Rainea, Aelil was never really active in the war. She wondered if the Raineans already knew about whatever the Smokewolf's followers where planning. Find them. I have to find them.

Haruka and Dawn left later, fully rested. Haruka and Dawn were both two of the Smokewolf's high commanders, and they felt almost invincible.
