Do leghorns normally have such big combs at 2/1/2 weeks old?

I just wanna specify a little, I’ve got a couple more that look just like this one.

It looks a little suspicious but I wouldn't call it yet. Best to start sexing at 6 weeks.

I agree with Ted. Those big single combs can look large at first even on pullets. I wondered about my white leghorn (Pictured at 3ish weeks? She still looks like a pullet at 7ish weeks now).

I have some leghorn hybrids chicks and not sure about the combs on the little raptors.

I've only hatched out Exchequer longhorns but was surprised at the combs on the very young chicks of both sexes. Turned out of the dozen eggs shipped, six hatched and five were roos. Their wattles started to come in right at six weeks so it was easy to identify and separate the pullet into the keeper pen! Seems like six weeks is the magic time for most 'iffy' chicks- no hiding after that!
