Leghorn? Leghorn mix?

Hello our three leghorns (?) started laying this week! We are so excited but a little confused. We thought they were white leghorns and would therefore produce white eggs.. but they’ve produced light brown eggs.. their ear lobes are fairly white.. I’ve googled and read we might just have a mix. I was curious what the forum has to say thank you in advance!

Definitely Leghorn mixes. Possibly second generation Leghorn mixes bred back to Leghorns.

Ahhh that makes sense we bought the fertile eggs from a local feed store and incubated them

I will try when they perch tonight they live up the leghorn flightiness trait! Had one fly over the fence the other day and took a tour on the neighborhood ‍
