Leghorn or White Rock?

They are pretty! I hear they are great layers as well. Double bonus! I am thinking that mine are all Leghorns... their earlobes are lookig white I suppose.

I think the fleshy white earlobe started to come out more when they were a little older so you might not see it until they have fully feathered out and have a fleshy looking face. Leghorns are also rather slight looking compared to a more hefty rock. You should notice a difference in the body shape between leghorns and rocks and then decide which you have based on that.

Thays what I am thinking. They are fully feathered now, and their gait and size look more like a Leghorn than a White Rock.

haha well i am not really sure what my favorite breed is the Silkies seem to have a lot of personality they all do but i don't think i have a favorite breed i do have a favorite chicken her name is Katie ever since she was a chick i liked her she was different some how she was calmer than the others more content she would cluck to me as if talking to me so she was my favorite she is still a sweety we raised allof our hens (and roosters) from chicks except the white leghorns

I would have thought you simply misspelled it if you only did it once, but that isn't the case. My point is that just because you personally haven't seen something, don't make someone else feel like an idiot for pointed out something they HAVE witnessed.

I didn't assume it, I read it above. I guess social skills shouldn't be taken for granted. You are ALLOWED to speak to your experience, I don't think that was ever in question. Just don't mistake your experience for the absolute truth while you belittle other people's experiences. As far as who the idiot is? Well, my social skills prevent me from answering that question!
