leghorn pullet or rooster?

    My neighboors now have a "habit" of throwing their chickens over the fence and claiming they aren't their's. But that is besides the point. This leghorn showed up this morning, hasn't crowed, very skittish (true to leghorn breed) but I have never had any experience with them. I have no idea how old and do you think boy or girl? [​IMG]

    Can you check just above the tail to see if there are any long pointy feathers? If you haven't heard crowing, then I think it's a hen. :)

    There are only short feathers. Looks like this gal found a new home [​IMG]
