I looked to see if there was a leghorn thread and I didn't see one so I decided to make one.

Y'all use this thread to ask any questions, show pictures, tell stories, ask advice, give information or incite, tell an experience, etc. Post all of your leghorn related topics here!

I have three beautiful leghorns- two white and one brown. They are about 9 months old. Who else breeds or owns leghorns?

Also if you own a leghorn enter it in my leghorn contest that ends Dec. 1.

I can't wait to read about y'alls experiences and see some pictures of y'alls leghorns.

Well, I love my dear becky chicken (leghorn) although she is now 2 years old and getting ugly (not in my eyes but my family members eyes):hit! Although I think that she will always be my favorite! She layed my very first egg, and has layed steadily throughout! I plan to have her as long as possible! Just today she got into something (probably a mud bath) and is completely covered herself in ( I have no idea... that's what worries me!) She always manages to get out of my electric fencing, even though no other chicken escapes:barnie... *sigh*

I still love her to death though...:love

Chickens are never ugly they are always cute in my eyes! Post a picture of her. I wanna see her.

Here she is...

She got out of the fence again this morning, ( and every morning ) and she lays her eggs in the same spot in the yard. As you can see, she is very dirty because... (idk) She acts very sassy, but as soon as you bring out the treats she the sweetest thing! :thumbsup

Awe she's adorable. I think you should enter her in my contest if you want to. I don't see why your family thinks she's ugly
