Update: Chickaletta is growing very fast. I think she might be a he after all. The comb is bright orange and huge! So we have Mr. Chickaletta Foghorn.

Dark brown, or light brown?

Unless you bought from a hatchery?? Maybe some sell as just "brown", not sure.

They are chicks from a breeder in Virginia. He sent me some pictures prior to sending the chicks, of the parent stock. They are dark brown, Rose Comb Brown Leghorns

okay...just picked up a barred rock a white leghorn and a mystery colored leghorn....not brown not white...who has picks of the different colors so I can tell what exactly I got??
