Leghorns Molting -30

My poor white leghorns are molting. It's been to -30. There are feathers all over the ground. My other chickens are all very healthy and fully feathered. Non of the leghorns are too bald though - except for their necks.

I got them from Rochester Hatchery and they laid every day - non-stop for a year.

I'm thinking maybe it's the genetically modified thing that's throwing them off?

Odd time to be molting, but that's likely what it is.

Chickens are not "genetically modified".
