I do this every time I get new chicks! Stress for months until I know the sex! I think it’s because my first set of “pullets” I got at rural king were actually 50/50 hens and Roos! Leghorns seem a more tricky to sex by features. Any ideas if these are pullets or Roos?

The bird in first pic doesn’t look like Leghorn. It has green Legs and can’t tell if it has a straight comb or another comb type.

the other 3 are not really showing signs of male, but that’s only based on comb size/lack of color, but not sure how Old they are.
So interesting! I’ve been watching the comb and feathers so much I didn’t pay attention to the legs! Doh! The bigger one is 2.5 months and the babies or only about 2.5 weeks. I know I’ll have to wait awhile longer, but I like to torture myself 😁

if this is your green legged bird, it does have a single comb.
Yeah that’s “her” I still can’t believe I didn’t notice the legs! She’s super sweet too. Becoming quite the mother to the babies!

At 2.5 weeks, I’d wait until 5-6 weeks. Leghorns usually develop pretty fast, so you may be seeing big differences in comb/wattle growth if you have any males. Female Leghorns develop their combs faster than other breeds, but they don’t color as early as the males.

probably a she. Take a pic of her standing, from the side. Can see all feathering better that way.
