She's around 4-5 monthsThe absence or presence of spurs or spur buds is not a reliable indicator of gender as many hens will develop them and male roosters will never have them - not only in leghorns. How old is Leggy?
thanks! If there is too much of a build up I'd clean it. Mine help each other out with that. Mine all have nice fuzzy long hair butts and poop gets on it sometimes. I'm thankful they keep each other clean though (I try to keep an eye out to make sure they're not too rough with each other during grooming, they seem fine though).
