Leghorns

I'm thinking of getting light brown leghorns... How do they do in ohio winters?

There is the possibility of frost bite (especially on the roosters), but other than that they are quite winter hardy and my favorite of all chicken breeds.

I live in wisconsin and I got 25 Brown Leghorns 4 years ago, 1 rooster and 24 hens, only one hen remains. The majority of them were killed by predators, including the rooster, but I lost about 8 during the winters. The hen that I have left is doing great, she has a very large crown but no frost bite and she is still laying eggs even though there is over a foot of snow on the ground I would definitely recommend the brown leghorn, or any leghorn. Also my BL rooster was very mean, he would attack me and my little brothers, or anyone who came out there. I have had similar problems with white leghorn roosters to.

What color chicks should i get with my excheque leghorn rooster and my millie flower leghorn hens, if somebody know please let me know
