Lemon blue rooster?

"It was cloudy when I took the first few pictures, he looks the same indoors too. But yes they do get a good amount of corn."

It isn't that sun in the photo made him look that way. It's being out in the sun that does it. Like he lives outdoors and not indoors. That's why a lot of breeders that show keep birds that are prone to brassiness indoors and on no corn diets to help keep them the correct color.

Oh I see. Well he's been indoors for the first 6 months and these colours came out during that time. Then I built a totally shaded coop and run and moved them there, because it's super sunny and hot here, plus we get bad storms too so they're completely protected.
He hates the sun anyways, stays in the coop most of the time, comes out in the run for a morning and evening stroll or to eat/drink.

But they do get a bunch of corn from their diet, so there's that.

Not it isn't.
Splash can 9only produce blue when bred with black.
Only splash when bred with splash.
Only blue or splash when bred with blue.
If he is producing any birds with black he isn't a splash.

That's what I thought when I saw the chart. If I incubate say 6 I usually have 3 blues 1 black 2 whites/splash.
