Hi Lynne- I wanted to tell you what a great time we had out at your beautiful place. We really enjoyed everything. You have such great chickens and your love for them really shows. I will post pictures soon so everyone can see how they are maturing. I love them already they are so great.

Lanissa86 those are a beautiful bunch of babies. Mini- you are half way through, keep up the good work! Those 11 days will go by faster then you can imagine. My 3 babies are at the funky teenager stage right now. I will post picts in about a week of so.

How fun!

I fell in love :lovewith your birds the minute I found this thread!
My kids want to start doing 4-H and are picking the breed that they would like to show. When I showed them yours they flipped out! They would love to show yours! We are new to showing and still learning the rules but would they be able to show them with this new coloring?
If we got a hen and roo from your eggs do we breed those two together or do we find them other mates? Oh I'm soooo new to all this!

I've never shown, but I'm sure these birds would be ok in 4H for showmanship. However, the Lemon Blue color is not recognized so I don't know if there is a catagory for "other" colors.

I'm so please that you like my birds. If you would like me to put you on the list for hatching eggs, just send me a PM. Thanks again!!!

Chick #2 is the same color that Lemon Boy was as a baby.

Chick #4 is probably going to be a Lemon Blue

Chick #5 watch the wings . I think you will start to see blue in them as he/she matures.

They all have great potential. Just remember this color continues as they mature. Even now, I have one blue roo who is starting to get the buff color in his wings & he is nearly a year old. Great hatching & beautiful babies!!!!!

Hey my chicks have finally hatched. I got 5 chicks out of 12 eggs which I think is amazing since they came all the way from California to Georgia. I am only posting a pic with 3 of the chicks cuz I the other two didn't want to hold still for their picture. They are perfect! I am definitely buying more eggs in the fall. Thank you so much for the opportunity to have these.
