LUCKY YOU! ALL GIRLS! My boys were very noticeable by that age with red combs and wattles starting!

Lucky you on the colors as well! They are going to be GORGEOUS! Please keep us updated! I will try and get new pics sometime this week of my 6.

OMG they are beautiful!!

You really have some great color going on. I agree with Lanissa, I "think" they are all pullets. Isn't it odd that when we "want" a roo it just doesn't happen.

I just came up from the basement & I have 3 Lemon Blue pipping. I hope

they come out as lovely as yours. Good job on the picture taking

I wondered about the color of chick #2. She is black but has long streaks of white on her front feathers and prominent lacing on her back. Will she be solid black or something else.

Lynne, you are the expert. What do you think? They are so nice and my grandson turns #3, (he named her teacup) upside down and holds her like a baby and she goes to sleep.

He is nuts about "his girls" as he calls all his chickens. They can hear his voice or see him coming and there is a chicken stampede to get to him.

He is magic with animals,
He will be old enough for 4H this year and will hopefully show his chickens.

What color rooster do I need for these hens? If I hatch more of your eggs and get a rooster, can I put him with these hens?

Don't know much about chicken genetics yet.

LYNNE- I have chickies and more pips too!

The kids and I were so excited this morning. We woke to one already hatched and dry. We already have 3 hatched now, 1 zipping and a couple more pips. All of them are Lemon blue so far. They are so cute! I will keep you posted as far as colors and what not. I have to go check on them. See ya~ Tacey

UPDATE: I have 5 chicks so far. All different in color. They are so cute! I cant wait to share them with you all.I have a couple that are still trying to break out. I have to go check on them again. I'll be back soon.

Ok- I have a total of 6 lemon Blue cochins. I have one really big chick. He was the 1st one to hatch. He is huge! Black with a yellow chest. Oh, they all have such cute little fuzzy butts. I can't stop looking at them.

I didn't have any luck with the black mottled, oh well, I am thrilled with the 6 cochins I have!!!!!
