I love the cochins and I am on a mission to have one of every color. I have been seeing people talking about lemon cochins. Do they mean buff? Can someone post a pic of a grown one or maybe point me in the right direction so that I can see one? Thanks

Anyone?

I know someone that has Bantams in...

black
White

and her roos are Frizzles. So dont know if you have those colors or not or if you are even wanting Bantams

Thanks so much. I searched for them but I guess not good enough. I have black, barred, golden laced, partridge, white, and blue but lemon sounded so neat and different. I just couldn't seem to find pics other than tiny chicks.

Lynne's are still in the "project" phase, I believe though I think they are breeding true. I bought some mille fleur cochin eggs from her twice

They are just beautiful birds. The Lemon blues are gorgeous too! She packs very well and is a nice person to work with. Good Luck

I am assuming they mix two colors to get those. What colors do they use?

Edit: still learning to read all the way through before I ask things. lol

Sure! Now I know how they mix two colors but I am not a genetic scholar (sp?) so how do you mix three colors? I swear I am going to go take a genetics class just so I can make different colored chickens.
