Yep, and Greenfire's Sussex have gone for way more than that a pair, but that is for actual birds, guaranteed to get something for their money, with eggs, your just buying a chance at getting something.

oh, i did not know this auction was for eggs, i clicked on the link, saw it for a split second, and got redirected

Well, I definitely see the spectacular in the Lemon Cuckoo and in ALL the English orps. If we're putting in our orders, I would LOVE to have some English type Gold-Laced orps and the Crele orps, but I'll take the Lemon Cuckoo or Chocolate too - in large fowl, please.

RAREROO...thanks for that info to..hinkjc informed me as well after i posted on here that them solid buffs would not have the gene..lets see if they run another auction..

I personally think the coloring is neat looking..

I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

And yep, it is a pretty neat color, I agree with some of the others that it it prettier that Chocolate, and by the way, the blackish/brown one like in OEGBs and Wyandottes that is sometimes called Chocolate is actually Dun, not true Chocolate. If that was the color you are referring to.

Hey Charlie and anyone else who was wanting to see, here are a couple pics of my young lemon cuckoo project roo.

This is the oldest one, I am super happy with his coloring, but he has more henish feathering and stance, I like for roos to be slow feathering and have short little cotton tails at this age.

Here he is

This one is a little younger and still has some baby down so the pattern isnt all the way in yet.
