Suggestions for treating mites?I feed 18% all flock and right now still finishing up chick starter. It might be the protein level and mites. I treat with small amount of floating fish food (high protein) and my RIR is the first to gobble up.
Oh sweetie I've never had any so far. I use wood ash pretty regularly as a deterant. Good luck, if it were me I'd look in articles on diseases for treatments. Or PM some of the medical experts.Suggestions for treating mites?
should she change out all of her bedding too?Mites for coop and run. Spray everything with Permethrin. All surfaces and good skin contact with the hens, not just top of feathers. Repeat in 10 days. (I also spray 10 days later for good measure)
