Well, I'm glad to see that I'm not alone in my lack of foresight. Thanks for all your replies. Here's a quick question. I notice many of you have a list of critters under your posts. How do you do that? I might as well add my menagerie too, lol.

Being a "new egg" myself, it would not let me add anything until I had 10 posts. You go to profile, then click on personality to add whatever you want at the bottom. I feel for you and your wife, I just moved my 6 leghorns outside today. I get 15 more chicks Thursday. So my house will be dusty once more. Can't wait! lol

I had 12 in my cellar until 4 weeks and honestly they didn't smell. I had rubber gloves and poop picked twice a day though. I'd just be standing there watching them anyway.
