Don't expect DH to understand the fact the your babies are sick and need to be inside for the love and support of their momma.

Dont expect DH to understand WHY you had to buy a second hair dryer when you already have one. (it will dry their feathers when they are wet and cold)

Dont expect DH to understand WHY you need another coop built on a yearly basis.

That you will inevitibley end up haveing a messy house because you will spend to much time outside with them. (no doubt their coop will be spotless)

I have learned that there is nothing in this world that give me as much joy and relaxation as watching my girls happily peck in my back yard after a summer rain. ahhh Chicken TV at its finest.

That your heart will break when you have nothing else you can do to save a girl you desperatly love and have to cull her- but that your heart will once again swell when you find her eggs were fertile and are under your broody at the moment.

That life will go on no matter what. and every day you will get wiser and smarter to the ways of the world.

A chair is a must have down at the coop.
It's always fun to watch the rooster show a hen how to nest.
There is always a "special" one in every flock.
