I have 2 chicks that have hatched not sure on breed … here’s a photo of the eggs and one of the chicks any thoughts? If I can work out mumma I can figure out dad not a problem…. Both chicks look like little penguins if that helps…

That’s what I need to know with the eggs I’m not sure what breed lays those eggs… some suggestions would be good on what breed could lay eggs like that… I can then confirm weather I have that breed or not

Yes… doesn’t mean I know which hen laid those eggs but I know which one of my boys likes certain hens

Never mind figured it out… they are Plymouth Rock babies… worked it out as the 2nd chick has a huge yellow spot on its head lol gotta love sex linked chickens lol

That’s possible… I have a silver laced girl… I did have a blue gold laced girl but she past away a week ago and I’ve got a blue gold laced boy…

Are the eggs right for Wyandottes though? I thought they laid brown eggs? Not off white/tint/cream/tan eggs
