Let it RAIN......

Bantamlover....sorry about the sleet...but that's what you get for living in Lubbock.

Everytime I see the weather in that part of Texas I'm glad I live where I do....

Its cold, but the rain is perfect. Slow, steady and getting close to two inches here. If it would just happen every month or so instead of every 8 months or so we'd be in good shape.

Lovin' the rain; but my the chickies look awful! Silkies, in particular, should never get wet.

Sleet stoped all melted now back to being bone chilling again *sigh* chickens look miserable (their own fault they go scratch in the rain when they could go hide in their house)

I don't have silkies though... started again

Ditto for us next door in Louisiana! Wonderful rain---we are almost 11 inches below normal for this time of year.
And I got all of my citrus trees fertilized just in time. Whoo-hooo!!!
My chickens love the rain. I think they think they are ducks, lol.

hehe thats funny! We would LOVE to get 11 inches... i cant imagine being 11 inches below normal! Isn't it funny how a drought in one place can be a flooding season in another....

My DH worked in Georgia with his uncle one year and they wer in a drought... they had *only* had 30 inches that year....

I think we had 3 last year.
