Let quail eat both inside and outside?

My quail are indoors most of the time but I want to let them outdoors in a protected run on nice days. If they eat bugs etc. outdoors from time to time, will it affect their digestive system? Thanks in advance!

Bugs are part of their natural diet. They should be fine.

Mine ate flies ants roaches when i could find them lets see and those lil bugs ants use for drinks
