Chewie has been acting depressed for a week. I have tried to get her into a vet, but the ones that will see chickens are booked.
She’s lethargic and skinny (her breastbone is very prominent and she is extremely light compared to her sister). She drinks(though not excessively), and will pick at food though her crop is always empty. Her poop looks normal. She is not pushing as if she was egg bound. If you listen to her abdomen, there does sound like a crinkly sound? And her abdomen does feel more firm than normal. I feel bad for her, what can I do?
