Lethargic Chick Died-- Why?

It says that that corid is for calves but all I have is one baby chick... Is that the right stuff?
Yes, Corid is for cattle, but you can use it for chickens. Do you have the liquid, or the powder? If using the liquid mix together two teaspoons per gallon (1/2 teaspoon per quart). If using the powder, the dosage is 1/2-3/4 teaspoons per gallon of water. Give Corid for five days.

The Corid sold in the US is labeled for cattle, but is approved for use in poultry. The exact same stuff sold in Canada is labeled for both.

There are 480mg of amprolium in one teaspoon of the liquid and 960mg in 2 teaspoons.
There are ~560mg of amprolium in one teaspoon of the powder, 280 in 1/2 and 420mg in 3/4. The correct dose for treatment is *no* less than 3/4 teaspoon.

If I have made an error in my math, please let me know and I will correct it.

I am going to get the powder, but Tractor Supply was out today! They said that they will have more tomorrow, but I am really scared for my last chick. He seems to be doing fine, but today when I held him he pooped out an orangish glob,
