Right now I would just get the antibiotic into them.

Got the antibiotic and vetrx. Just giving the sick one vetrx. Everyone has the duramycine in their water! Anything else I should do?

Just make sure they are warm and out of drafts. I hesitate to tell you to give a vitamin supplement, like Sa-a-Chick, right now. The symptoms sound like a respiratory issue but there also may be some coccidiosis going on as well. The medicated feed will be counteracted by the vitamins and just in case....I'd hold off a bit. Let's see how it does with the antibiotic and VetRX first.

How do I administer vetrx for a chick?

It's basically Vicks so you put a little bit on your finger or Q-Tip and run it down the middle of their beak. Try not to get it into the nostrils, it would probably burn.

Ok, I rubbed it on her beak with a q-tip. But the directions in the box said to add some to water, warm it up, and drop it down their nostrils! I was way too scared to do that!!! And it just didn't sound right for a baby chick!

I don't remember what the bottle says for dosing but I believe it's a couple of times a day?
