Lethargic Chicken HELP!!

That dear girl looks to have been beaten up.. looks like dried blood all over her comb and some points are missing.
She won't starve but she needs fluids as dehydration can be deadly fast. Try holding the water to her beak.. she may be sore.
Not sure about adult birds.. but in chicks, I will dip my finger and drip water right below the nostrils so when it rolls around into the beak they *usually* gobble a little and swallow it. A couple drops of poultry nutri drench to the beak if you have it available.
:fl

I got her ton drink a few sips last night. Do you think putting neosporin on her comb will help? My biggest problem is, is that I already have one chicken in my hospital because she was attacked by a hawk
I agree, it looks like she's been beaten up. Scabby comb, there looks to be scabs around the eye too, possibly blood in the nostril too. Have you examined her closely for hidden bruising or wounds. You have one that in a hospital cage that was attacked by a hawk, I would re-check this one too.
The comb is not that serious, it should heal o.k.
The eye can you get it open to examine it more closely? A warm compress, then saline to flush it out? Terramycin eye ointment, vetericyn eye gel or plain neosporin can be used in the eye.
The lethargy, not eating/drinking is most concerning. I would get some electrolytes into her since you have those.
Keep us posted.

That's why I said I'm no expert, and that it appears to me to be.:gig I always freak out when I see the swollen eyes. Mycoplasma isn't fun either...:hitBut at least it would be easier to treat and deal with.
I saw and value the disclosure. I to am NO expert! ;)

I didn't mean anything by it.. just looking at ALL the symptoms to try and get an assessment and (I) see clues pointing the injury direction instead of illness. But, that's why we are here.. to pull our resources which includes different experiences, thought processes, and concerns. :highfive:

Sometimes there is more than one answer even... and sometimes an attack or stress can bring other things out when the immune system is weakened. :hmm

Thank you for sharing and caring enough to even try and help! I love this BYC community. :hugs

I just got home from work and walked outside to seeing my sweet girl gasping for air, any of you know what's going on with her or any suggestions on what to do?

How is she doing now?
If you have vet care, it's best to have them check her out.
Have you added any chickens to your flock within the last 30days?

The gasping could be from a number of things from injury to respiratory disease.
Look inside her beak for any plaques, lesions or an obstruction in her airway.
Move her to a quiet place so you can observe her for any other symptoms - coughing, sneezing, mucous, watery eyes, etc.
