Buff Orpington @21/2 years old. She slowly became more lethargic, sitting in the coop all day. Her back end would bump up and down slightly. She would occasionally come out into the run, eat, drink. She will peck at you if you touch her.(she is not Broody). This has been going on for 2 months(or More). She looks worse now. Her comb is pale. Not sure what to do? My best guess would be Histomoniasis, but I don't notice yellow poops. My chickens do free range a few times/week and eat worms. I don't want to euthanize her if its something that can be treated.-Ralph
I've separated her from the flock and have started treating her with Fishzole. I plan on deworming her next week. I've noticed that her comb is turning dark and starting to come away from her scalp. Not sure what to do!!
