Lethargic chickens, then death

I live out in farm country, so it's easy to get my hands on. I just started dosing them, and those that didn't drink got a manditory helping. To ensure they all got it right away. I have had chickens for over 2 years, just when ya think you got the hang of it *pow* something new.

$14 at the local co-op for corid, and 9 for the sulmet. I hope this is gonna take care of them.

Corid is actually for cows and swine. Give them a call they did down here, just cost a lot more $22

I'm on a medicated feed. Current count is 9. Just lost 2 more an hour or so ago. I have both mess now, and just playing damage control. They can plan on this being a yearly regiment. I hope this ends soon, it's like the plague.

If you bought the corid powder, you want to do 1/2 a teaspoon per gallon of water.

Ok everyone it is update time. Lost 9 birds in total! Talk about a big hit to my flock. I used corid, and everyone is bouncing right back. I still have my blr wyandotte sick, but he is Improving by the hour. Hopefully everything is over, it's been two days since we lost any birds. For everyone going for the "natural" way, be prepared to lose all of your birds. I will never ever ever not have corid and sulmet on hand, we live and we learn I suppose. I'm just glad I didn't lose everyone, I would have been devistated and think I may have given up completely.
