The deets!

Coturnix Quail, will be a month old tomorrow.
She's always been a little smaller than my other bird, but she came out of a small egg. She has good appetite generally. Very active and curious.

The problem!

This morning, I check on them and she's uncharacteristically sleepy looking. Closer inspection, and she has a wing drooping, and that sleepiness is actually lethargy.
Other bird is totally fine. Poking around, eating, etc.

I can't see any blood or any signs of outside trauma. However, her wing does feel a little more bendy and soft around the joint than I think is normal... Only ever had chickens and ducks before, and it's much easier to check on a larger friendlier bird, my gosh, I feel so bad having to catch her and feel up her wing. And of course the poor dumb thing just panics the whole time.

She hangs it limp, regardless of if she's freaking out cause the great hand in the sky is coming to get her or if she's just left alone. She does appear to be able to move it, since I can lift it if she's not paying attention, and when she notices me, she'll pull it away. It is however a pretty weak pull. My biggest concern is how lethargic she is, just sort of standing stiffly, and closing her eyes. She looks like it hurts.

Maybe what happened?? + Pics

Both these guys live in my room at the moment, so this morning, probably around 4-5 am, I was woken up by a loud crash. I sat up, turned on the light a moment and everything seemed fine, though grant it, I didn't get up and check it out, just turned on the light and make sure no one had escaped since the lid to their enclosure isn't ever snapped closed.

Maybe she flushed up and landed awkwardly. No idea.

The not hurt side. Just stiff. And she's making an 'ouchie' face.

This is the dropped wing, couldn't find any obvious injuries other than she's looking a little disheveled.

Conclusion!?

So, do I just try and wrap it up?
Maybe some bird pain or anti-inflammatory meds, any suggestions for what medicine would be best?

There are no nearby avian vets so I couldn't take her anywhere since we're a 1 car household and my boyfriend's 60+ miles away at work at the moment. he's closer to a bird vet than me lol.

My current consolation, is that she's still got at least some appetite. Maybe even a lot of appetite. But this bird in particular is especially slow to forgive being handled, so whenever she sees me watching she'll stop eating and go to the opposite end of her enclosure to be as faaar away from me as possible now that I've felt up her wing.
But eating is probably a good sign at least.

If she's still droopy later when the boyfriend gets home, I'll probably attempt to wrap it against her body.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

A drooping wing can be a sign of dehydration as well as an injury. I would have her drinking some fluids, and vitamins or Poultry NutriDrench 1 ml daily might be good since she is not getting any vitamin D from being outside. Other possibilities could be possible coccidiosis which is usually treated with Corid in the water.

Thanks, I appreciate your opinion and advice on what could be going on with her. It's a big help to me :)
