Yes I lost four to severe lethargicy but they were not shipped. I used nutra-drench, vitamin b and the scrambled eggs. It did help at first with them. I think if it had been just normal shipping stress they would have made it. I also made sure to use warm water for them to drink.
If she passes away, she will be my fourth death in four days...a duckling a day is so incredibly depressing! Trying to keep my other ducklings and goslings healthy. Going to do a complete brooder clean out tomorrow to make sure there isn't something I am doing wrong...their bedding isn't wet or too poopy, I've been spot cleaning and removing wet litter along with layering fresh pine shavings.
Give us a run down on your set up,feed your using, what kind of heat Source. I really doubt it’s something your doing. Also are all the ducklings dying the same way if so symptoms. I am heartbroken for you and I sure hope the hatchery works with you. What hatchery?
