Oh no, I am so very sorry for your loss. If you would like to get a necropsy done by your state vet to see what she may have died from, you can keep the body wrapped in plastic bags and on ice in a cooler, but don’t freeze it. On Monday AM you can contact your state vet lab from this list:

Sometimes you can find out some possible problems from a home necropsy. Reproductive disorders, cancers, and fatty liver disease may be obvious. If you should do this, take pictures to post her. If you don’t and chose to bury her, that is understandable as well.
