I have A 2 year old buff Orpington hen who has just suddenly fallen I'll.
She was fine on Monday(checked the pen, fed some treats) and starting on Wednesday she just seems completely out of it.

I can't feel an egg, so I doubt she's egg bound, but I also have no idea what it could be.
She is drinking some, and we have water with a calcium supplement in it, but other than that, not really moving or interacting much.

I can hear her stomach making noises, so I wonder if it could be a stomach issue. She does seem to have diarrhea.

Not sure what I should do to help her she seems to be worsening fast.

Advice, please!

Bumping this with the hope that someone will know what's going on. I've been trying to get food into her with antibiotics and electrolyte water but she's just going downhill. Her head droops and she does not move.

Starting to look grim.

I'm not much help, but I seem to have a similar issue right now. Our SL Wyandotte was fine today and this afternoon she got very slow, laid on the ground, and has been quiet. I had to put her in the coop tonight. Weird that this came on so quick.

Maybe worms?

Mines the same... Lost much weight has runny poo and is puffed up sleeping most of the day... I don't know what to do... I think mine has egg peritonitis, not good. Been eating and drink minimum amounts, she enjoyed some apple sauce today. Trying to make her as comfortable as possible! Hope yours get better!
