Lethargic hen, suspect Marek's

I had suspected coccidiosis and started the two remaining Shetland Hen pullets and three cockerels on Corid Wednesday evening. The affected pullet seems better today, and the others have not shown any signs of being affected as of yet. I had also removed the extension cord from the radiant heater yesterday because I thought it could have possibly been lead poisoning from it.
Please let me know how the Corrid treatment is going! Good luck

Well, she's looking better today. She's drinking on her own, with much better head control and balance. I'm about to go get some human vitamins
Glad she's doing a little better today.

What do you feed? I see a mixed loose feed in the dish. Sometimes when chickens have feed like that they pick out all the things they like and leave the rest which can lead to deficiency. Essentially they need to consume all the different components to get a complete diet. Soaking or fermenting feed seems to help if you choose a loose feed instead of pellets, so this is something to consider doing.

@Wyorp Rock I'm stunned at the power of a vitamin deficiency!! I gave her the E and B vitamin last night, and I'm not sure which or what but this morning the sick pullet was much improved. Thank you!! 🤩🙏♥️🙏🤩

(Side note on feeding, while I do feed most of my hens a good quality layer pellet, supplemented with a lovely whole grain scratch, the food in the picture is a mix of both made into a warm mash. 😋 )

Thank you everyone!! 😄

I'm glad she's doing a little better.
Keep us posted on how she's getting along.

No external parasites that I could see, and I examined under her wings as well. Her eyes are bright, she's attempting to preen, and her balance and reflexes are quite good now. I'm hoping she's just.. recovering??
She's not hand-tame like my pet chicken, so I guess I'm waiting for her to show interest in something other than sleeping in her little cat carrier full of clean chopped straw. 🙄
