We have an Easter Egger pullet who is just shy of 3 months old that is lethargic, not eating, nor drinking. The rest of the flock seems to be fine. She is sleepy- head down, tail down, standing. She is one of several pullets we've introduced to a lone older laying hen. They integrated well- so I don't think she's being bullied. I was able to collect a very small poo sample that looks pretty normal to me (other than it being on the smaller side)- but we're still new to chicken-keeping, so I've attached it in case someone sees something I don't! The black part on the side is dirt
We've isolated her, with some food (free choice of regular grower feed, meal worms, and fruit), put apple cider vinegar in her water, and will be going to get her some yogurt right now. Any other thoughts, suggestions, comments? She doesn't appear to have sour or impacted crop, her vent looks fine. Her comb is slightly pale. Eyes look normal... She is fairly weak and sleeping right now. No apparent signs of lice/mites/worms in coop, in her poo, or on her body. And she's not coughing, sneezing, nor does she have any discharge...??
