Her poop is watery diarrhea, no blood in it though....the chicken health handbook suggested that it could still be cocci even without bloody stool....
Her breathing is normal, no wheezing or sneezing, just calm normal breathing.
You are correct. A chicken can have cocci without blood in poop. Sulmet only treats 2 types of cocci out of the 9 types of cocci. Continue treatment with the sulmet as recommended by the directions. If there's no improvement after treatment, I recommend that you purchase Corid 9.6% liquid solution. Dosage is 9.5cc's per gallon of water for 5-7 days, change it out daily. Corid treats all 9 types of cocci. It can be found in the cattle section at your feed store. There isnt any withdrawal period with corid.
