Lethargic, quiet, unmoving- please help!

If her crop is filling with air, there are air producing organisms in there. Search for discussions on 'sour crop'. Sour crop can be due to eating something spoiled/gross. Chickens like to do this.
This may be her only problem or it may be secondary to an underlying problem. If material is passing from her crop to the vent (pooping), she probably does not have a crop impaction- but there certainly sounds like she has an overgrowth of something in her crop. Bacteria and yeast can produce gas. Home treatment can be acidifying her crop to try to kill things in there- ACV is an old remedy. Getting her to eat/drink more to flush out the crop is good (dilution and passage of the bad bugs). A vet would likely empty, wash & flush, then fill the crop with good/fresh food. Lavage & gavage.....

Her comb and wattles are not bright red anymore. Is this a good sign? She's still lethargic, but seems that the crop has gone down some. She had a good drink of ACV water and a snack of yogurt. Any other things we can do to make her feel better? Should we still withhold food?
Thank you all!

ALSO, she is still holding her tail down and will stand for long periods of time without moving.

I don't know what is wrong with her but I do know the change in color of her comb is not good. Nor is the standing and not moving. I'm giving you a bump so maybe someone else will help you. Hope she gets better.

If you can, I'd get her to an avian vet in the morning. I think the vet will be able to sort this out but not if it goes on too long.

I did contact the only vet around who will see chickens and I hope they can see her. I have no idea what it'll cost, but I hope we can figure this out. I am anxious to see if we made any mistakes in feeding or care that can be remedied so every one else stays healthy.

Thank you all for your help and support, it means a lot.

Hope I can bring a positive update tomorrow!

I hope it all goes well.
