Those are pill bugs. My birds have eaten those without a problem. So, not quite sure those are what caused that.

I've had a lice infestation for awhile with my birds, & lost zero due to the external parasites. Mites are what can be deadly if left unchecked, & mites I've never had with my birds.Someone mentioned lice being deadly, after looking it up I'm scared that's what I originally saw. Seemed to look like the full-grown ones, although I don't see them anywhere now. I am going to get recommended spray for the coop. I've got to move the two healthy hens out of the coop. And will probably spend all night bathing them one by one all while praying no-one else gets them including myself

I am so sorry for not seeing this post yesterday. Please do not bathe them.I will definitely do that. First I need to set up a makeshift coop for the other two on the patio. If it is lice, will bathing them get rid of them and what do I need to do to protect us. Since I've had to bring two of them in the house because of their declining health
